History

William H. Robinson, Jr., Esq. graduated with Special Honors from the University of Vermont in 1966 where he earned membership in the national honor society, Phi Beta Kappa. He obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Chicago Law School in 1969.
From 1970 through 1972, Attorney Robinson practiced as a trial attorney for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, trying eminent domain cases in several Pennsylvania counties. In 1974, he became affiliated with the law firm of Hiscott and Robinson in Stroudsburg, until he opened his own practice in 1998.

Attorney Robinson's concentration deals in real estate, commercial litigation, zoning law and small businesses. His practice in the early 1970's included searching real estate titles, which enabled him to become knowledgeable about real estate practice.

Attorney Robinson is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, and the Supreme Court of the United States of America. He is also a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association as well as a member of the Monroe County Bar Association.

He has also served as a Monroe County Public Defender from 1973 to 1975 and was the Secretary of the Monroe County Bar Association in the 1970's. He is currently a member of the Rules Committee of Monroe County Bar Association. In 1999 and 2000 he served as Monroe County Conciliator. He has also served as a trustee of the Monroe County Library and a director of the Visiting Nurses Association.
